🏆 Hackathon Portfolio

Welcome to my hackathon journey! Here you'll find projects, code, and learnings from various hackathons I've participated in.

Why Hackathons?

Hackathons are an incredible way to:

  • 🚀 Rapid Prototyping - Build MVPs in 24-48 hours
  • 🤝 Networking - Meet like-minded developers and mentors
  • 📚 Learning - Dive deep into new technologies under pressure
  • 🎯 Problem Solving - Tackle real-world challenges creatively

Courtside IQ — NBA Hackathon · TEAM7 技术犯规

My NBA hackathon project with TEAM7 · 技术犯规: a workspace where a human host reviews a basketball clip, checks the evidence, approves AI cues and overlays, and saves a narrated production. Our entry did not advance to the finals. I am keeping the code, implementation limits, and offline interactive architecture here so other builders can inspect and reuse the work.

Tech Stack: AWS, Strands Agents SDK, AgentCore, Bedrock, Qwen, SageMaker, React

PΛN + Apex Dexterous Hand — AIx Origin · INNOAI Hackathon 2026

A cocktail machine (PΛN, Personal Agent for Nightlife — a Human Drink Machine Interface) wearing a Rysen Apex dexterous hand, and a five-part tutorial series on the hand itself: Isaac Lab + RSL-RL PPO training on a 12 GB laptop, first contact with the real-hand SDK, webcam teleoperation with the clinical Kapandji opposition test (score 9 on hardware), baoding-ball RL through nine reward iterations and a mount-angle sweep, and the sim-to-real observation contract. First team at the event to get the dexterous hand running; Insta360 Special Award.

Tech Stack: Rysen Apex Hand, Isaac Sim 6 / Isaac Lab 3, RSL-RL PPO, MediaPipe, DexPilot-style IK, ONNX Runtime, Logitech C920, RealSense D435, Insta360 X5, RTX 4080 Laptop

Roomba-VLLM — Attrax Spring Hackathon 2026 · Insta360 Cameraman Track

A fully local cyber butler — Insta360 Link 2 Pro as the gimbaled front camera, Jetson Orin NX running Ollama + Gemma E4B for live VLM inference, OpenClaw for daily patrols and a star-based reward system on my 8-year-old's room. Built in 24 hours (after 24 hours of jamming a robotic arm to a DJ set). Sponsored by JLCPCB. Won the Cameraman Award (TOP 1/200 Outlier).

Tech Stack: Insta360 Link 2 Pro, reComputer J4012 (Jetson Orin NX), Ollama, Gemma E4B, OpenClaw, WireGuard, TinkerCAD, Bambu Lab X1C, JLCPCB CH340X, DAP (next)

Cyber Boss — OpenClaw Builder Program 2026

A snarky AI boss called Tie-ge who runs a one-person company on OpenClaw + Feishu — schedules the day, dispatches tasks, chases deadlines, and roasts procrastination. 17 role-based bots, fully self-hosted.

Tech Stack: OpenClaw, TOOLS.md, Feishu (Bitable + Tasks + WebSocket), Vue 3, Express, SQLite, Ansible, Docker

NemoClaw Travel OS — DGX Spark Hackathon 2026

A fully private, gamified AI travel planner running on NVIDIA DGX Spark. From trip planning to travel diary, powered by Nemotron-3-Super-120B, Gemma 4 NVFP4, and NemoClaw.

Tech Stack: NemoClaw, Nemotron, vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, OpenShell, Ollama, Ansible, WireGuard, Amap MCP

AWS GameDay 2025

A cloud architecture competition focusing on resilience and cost optimization.

Tech Stack: AWS CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch

AI Voice Assistant Hackathon

Building a voice-controlled IoT system using Amazon Bedrock and ESP32.

Tech Stack: Bedrock Nova, ESP32, MQTT, Lambda

💡 Tips for Hackathon Success

  1. Prep Your Toolkit - Have boilerplate code ready
  2. Start with the Demo - Build backwards from the pitch
  3. Use Managed Services - Don't waste time on infrastructure
  4. Document as You Go - Screenshots and notes for the pitch
  5. Sleep is Optional - Coffee is mandatory ☕
